In just a week I am going to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to help build houses for the hurricane victims. The ball has been rolling for months now. Somehow, the group downsized from 8 to 6 to 5. As the advisor there are so many things left for me to do. I almost feel completely unorganized. I don't know how I am going to do this, how can I make it through this week. I have to get the itinerary for the trip, I was supposed to send it to Melissa by Friday. Obviously that didn't happen. I have to get all the information from the group, make little emergency information cards for the group, then keep track of the expense report. I also have to turn in the form to get the money for the gas for the trip.
Sometimes I wonder, what have I signed myself up for?
I have to keep reminding myself this is a good trip, I am doing good for people. I am serving the community, serving a community that needs me.
